OUR STORY
Mission
Fort Formalwear is a wedding suit specialist based in Ripley, Derbyshire. The story starts where Ben & April opened up their very own Menswear shop which stocked casual clothing, as well as suits for formal events.

Ben & April realised the need for suits within Derbyshire and wanted to create an experience for the men and their groomsmen before the big day... which is when Fort Formalwear was born.
​
There has been a lot of thought and effort gone into the new venture for Ben & April; which is why we are so proud to be one of the leading suit specialists in the East Midlands.
We opened the doors to our studio in 2021, after a difficult year in the trade, we have managed to help thousands of happy gentlemen picking the perfect suit; whether that be for a wedding or an event with their friends.

We are so proud of everything our formalwear shop has achieved and have really tried hard to make suit shopping a wonderful experience.
